Teen accused of ‘forcing girls to carve his name in their skin’ and ‘hunting gay men’

An 18-year-old German is facing trial accused of blackmailing several young girls into self harming as well as targeting gay men in ambush pepper-spray attacks

A teenager is facing trial in Germany accused of blackmailing young girls into self-harming and hunting gay men. Investigators have reportedly accused the 18-year-old, who has been named as Fabian Z by local press, of crimes consistent with the notorious 764 ‘satanist’ sextortion network.

The German teen allegedly manipulated seven girls aged between 12 and 15 into carving his own name into their skin, as well as the names of sextortion groups he belonged to, according to a report by German news outlet BILD.

According to the indictment, Fabian Z acted both alone and in collaboration with other alleged perpetrators to manipulate the child victims into self-carving ‘Alicia’ and ‘The Espada’ into their skin, believed to be related to the names of alleged sextortion rings.

The prosecution reportedly alleges that Fabian Z obtained naked pictures of his underage victims in order to blackmail them online, and would then threaten to release the photos if they did not do what he asked of them.

Investigators describe the alleged crimes as consistent with those of the notorious 764 sadist group, who use a network of chatrooms to manipulate women and young girls into allegedly humiliating themselves, self-harming, and even committing suicide.

The 764 cult, described by reports has having neo-Nazi as well as satanist ties, are recognised as a tier 1 terror group in the US and have been linked to the sextortion and manipulation of thousands of minors worldwide, including several documented cases of induced suicides.

Fabian Z is also accused of being involved in the luring of several gay men into violent ambushes via dating sites, according to reports.

The 18-year-old was allegedly involved in one specific attack on a 42-year-old, who was approached by a user named ‘Fabi’ on the online dating portal Planet Romeo.

The pair allegedly met in Hamburg, Germany, soon after which the victim was ambushed, pepper sprayed and repeatedly kicked by two men who had been hiding in a bush.

The prosecutors say they believe this was one of eleven similar incidents. Investigators reportedly identified Fabian Z. after receiving a tip from the US officials.

German cybercrime specialists then traced the suspect’s online activity, IP address and phone number, which led them directly to an apartment in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.

The 18-year-old is alleged to have carried out the offences from his mother’s home. He was arrested on December 23, 2025, and remains in pre-trial detention at a youth prison in Hahnöfersand, just outside Hamburg.

His lawyer, Yussof Sarwari, told BILD: “These are very serious allegations. My client is exercising his right to remain silent and will not comment for the time being.”

He reportedly added that there are “no concrete connection to the ‘764’ group, even if the alleged modus operandi is similar.”

He stated: “My client categorically rejects the accusation that the attacks on men addressed in the indictment were motivated by homophobic beliefs.”
