Man accused of ‘killing mum of two and dragging her across city in Juicy Couture suitcase’
A 51-year-old man is on trial accused of killing a mum of two and dragging her body more than 200m across a city in a suitcase, before dumping her under a bridge
A man has been accused of killing a mum of two and dragging her body hundreds of metres in a Juicy Couture suitcase after a decomposing corpse was found hidden under a bridge near a children’s playground.
The gruesome discovery of the suitcase in Stuttgart, Germany, was made after residents began complaining of a foul smell back in August 2025.
For months cops were clueless as to who the woman was or how her body had got there. An appeal was launched, along with a €1,000 reward for any information leading to the resolution of a crime.
The body was eventually identified as belonging to a 40-year-old mother of two who had been missing since July. The woman, named only as Gülşah by the German media, had been reported missing since July 21, 2025, and was last seen in Stuttgart on the same day.
The 40-year-old mother is described in reports as leaving behind two children, a daughter aged twenty and a son aged 11. 51-year-old Ahmed F is now on trial for manslaughter.
He is accused of killing the victim and placing her in the Juicy Couture suitcase, dragging the body around 210 metres from his apartment in Stutggart’s Filderstadt suburb to the bridge where it was discovered, according to a report by German news outlet BILD.
Ahmed F, who has been described as an acquaintance of the victim, reportedly remained silent at the start of court proceedings. According to police via German media outlet BILD, the pair had previously met through Stuttgart’s drug-taking scene.
According to the indictment, the exact circumstances of Gülşah’s death are currently unclear, however the prosecution say they believe Ahmed F killed the victim in his apartment between the end of July and the beginning of August 2025.
The trial is on-going in the Criminal Chamber of the Stuttgart Regional Court. A verdict is expected on July 23.
