Gang tattooed penis on disabled man’s face and sewed toes together in sadistic ‘game’

WARNING: DISTURBING CONTENT: Six people tortured a disabled man as part of a sick ‘change my look or ruin it’ game – the defendants pleaded guilty after humiliating the victim

Six individuals subjected a disabled man to torture, sewing his toes together and tattooing a penis on his face in a cruel ‘game’.

The horrifying incident occurred in the town of Manacor on the Spanish island of Majorca. The accused participated in a twisted ‘change my look or ruin it’ contest organised by the victim himself.

The game involved the victim having to complete a series of challenges agreed upon by all participants. If he failed to accomplish a challenge, he would be subjected to a pre-agreed punishment.

According to the Prosecution Service, the man was incapable of giving consent due to a 38% disability stemming from a borderline intellectual functioning disorder.

A woman reportedly involved in the disturbing game claimed she had no reason to believe he was suffering from a learning disability, reports the Irish Mirror.

Speaking to Ultima Hora, she said: “It was all at his instigation. In the WhatsApp group he set up himself, he gave instructions for everything.

“In fact, when I was added to the group, I was one of the last – or perhaps the very last – to join, and there were already lots of people in there with him giving the instructions. We just followed what he said.

“We thought it was all legal. There was a contract and everything, so we weren’t worried. He wanted certain things, and he paid for them. There was no problem because I didn’t know he was a man with a learning disability.”

She revealed that the tattoos were done using a makeshift device, with the group learning from YouTube tutorials after purchasing ink, needles and an injector for their home tattooing session.

The accused put the victim through “a seriously humiliating situation,” prosecutors stated. They inked a penis onto his face and a bra across his chest, pierced both earlobes and stitched his right toes together.

The group also bound his wrists using cable ties and sealed his mouth with adhesive. Continuing their torment, they dripped hot wax on his arm to strip away body hair, doused his bare body with icy water and compelled him to parade through a supermarket while dressed in women’s clothing.

The ordeal, which took place in March 2021, intensified when the gang seized his wallet and identification documents, demanding he honour the financial agreement made at the competition’s outset.

The victim refused payment as they had crossed the boundaries previously established, but the man ultimately fled the Manacor property to alert authorities.

Police launched a probe and detained the suspected attackers. Six individuals received five-month jail terms, which were suspended, meaning none will face imprisonment provided they remain crime-free for the next two years and complete an educational programme.

The accused admitted their guilt yesterday (Tuesday, June 30) at their trial at the Palma Provincial Court for crimes against moral integrity, causing bodily harm and coercion, and also agreed to fines totalling 1,450 euros.

The assailants also compensated the victim €18,160 (around £15,500) for the emotional distress and injuries inflicted.

Prosecutors, who dismissed the charges against one of the defendants, initially sought a four-and-a-half year prison sentence for each defendant. They eventually struck a deal with the defence teams and the victim’s solicitor.
