Another child dies in hot car as 18-month-old baby ‘forgotten’ by parent in heatwave

Another child has tragically died after being found in a car during roasting temperatures in France with some places seeing highs of 33C.
The incident has now seen the youngest victim of four child deaths involving being found in cars this week with an 18-month-old baby now dying after reportedly being “forgotten”.
The baby was found unconscious in a car in the parking lot of the Aix-Marseille University medical campus on Monday (June 22) but reports of the tragedy have only just come to light today.
An 18-month-old was found unconscious and suffering from hyperthermia. The baby was taken to the emergency room at La Timone hospital in critical condition but medical staff were unable to save his life.
