Bayern Munich v Arsenal LIVE: Champions League score and updates

17’ – It’s been tepid enough so far but Davies injects some pace into proceedings, shifting into the box from the left before Gabriel does well to shepherd him out of play.

A front three of Madueke, Havertz and Eze does not really sound Champions League-winning. That is what Arsenal have now Saka is off. Though with Diaz benched and Olise suspended Bayern have less stardust in their forward line tonight

13’ – Havertz is the first caution of the evening for planting the studs of his left boot on Stanisic’s shin. It’s the clearest yellow you’ll ever see.

10’ – Eze is on for Saka and it looks rather clear that the England star will be spending a little time on the sidelines following that injury.

8’ – Saka goes down after mishitting a pass with his left foot. He looks in a lot of pain and is singalling to the bench.

5’ – A steady start, unsurprisingly. Arsenal are enjoying a good spell of possession, though Bayern’s press is far from ferocious.

There are at least two Champions League-winning managers here tonight. Rafa Benitez and Jurgen Klopp have been in conversation.

And we’re underway in Bavaria. Arsenal play in their navy and yellow away strip, kicking left to right as we view. Bayern are in red.

is the familiar Italian Davide Massa.

Not long to go until we get underway at the Allianz. Will it be Arsenal’s night at a ground they’ve suffered so much at over the years, or can Bayern keep up their impressive record against the Gunners?

All the action, coming up next!
