OnePlus 16 Smartphone Reveal
OnePlus released its newest flagship in China today. The OnePlus 16 centers on a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a display that can update as fast as 185 times a second, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip built on a 2nm process.

The battery life has increased significantly compared to the previous model’s 7300 mAh cell. Wired charging can reach a top speed of 100 watts and charge your phone to 80% in less than 37 minutes, which is quite quick. Wireless charging is a little slower at 50 watts, though. Anyway, OnePlus claims that this battery would last for five years or more before dropping below 80% capacity.
