Vladimir Putin’s chief TV stooge has suffered an on-air meltdown as the war in Ukraine spirals out of control, making a desperate confession about a “giant mistake”. Cracks are appearing in Kremlin propaganda as state TV puppet Vladimir Solovyov warned terrified viewers that Russia can no longer defend them, while begging the public not to overthrow the dictator.
Solovyov, who previously gloated about freezing Ukrainian civilians to death, is now warning Russians to brace themselves for brutal strikes that could leave them shivering without heating this winter.
Opening his latest broadcast of Sunday Evening With Vladimir Solovyov, the presenter tried to put a brave face on the unfolding disaster, claiming “there is no panic” even as he acknowledged “things are difficult.”

In a humiliating admission that Moscow cannot secure its own borders, Solovyov floated plans to evacuate hundreds of thousands of civilians from frontline regions like Kursk, Bryansk, Belgorod and Crimea, shipping them off to the far reaches of the Russian Far East, the Urals and the Volga.
A visibly shaken Solovyov said: “We’ve encountered a new kind of war. Everyone understands this. For us, this war is quite difficult, because there was a certain moment in 2022 when it suddenly became clear that a military doctrine to which all armies in the world used to adhere no longer works.”
Making a heavy sigh, the Kremlin mouthpiece conceded that destroying vast stocks of ammo and military hardware in the years leading up to the invasion was a “giant mistake,” reports the Daily Beast.

Demanding a colossal surge in arms production for modern warfare, he said: “We should be manufacturing things and realising that this war will last a long time.”
Solovyov admitted Moscow is desperately short of drone interceptors and warned incoming Ukrainian ballistic missiles will soon rain down deep inside Russia.
Calling on private companies to step in, he said: “We certainly can’t deal with this without the civilian sector. We certainly can’t deal with this without major companies.”

He added: “It’s clear what the enemy is doing, he is trying to destabilise the situation inside our country.”
The presenter even complained that Russian women wanting to join the army reserves are being turned away, asking: “Can’t we revise the laws in accordance with the realities of military times?”
Striking a bleak tone, Russian politician Alexei Kondratiev admitted on the show: “The balance is not in our favour.”
Terrified that public fury will turn against Putin, Kondratiev pleaded with the public not to stage a coup.
He said: “Any revolution in our country always ended with the death of a nation and lots of blood. We shouldn’t succumb to this.”
Noticeably toning down his usual nuclear threats, the humbled presenter changed his tune on global apocalypse, now claiming Russia itself will collapse if it loses to Ukraine and NATO.
Instead, he vented his rage at the West by threatening to destroy the International Criminal Court for issuing an arrest warrant for Putin. The furious host added: “After it burns to the ground, it can be swept into the trash bin of history.”
