Teen TikToker’s body found in bin bags after being ‘kidnapped and killed by gang’

The body of a teenage TikTok star has been discovered stuffed in binbags after allegedly being murdered by a group of hooded assailants. Pedro Alexander Díaz Franco’s remains were found on a highway in Honduras a day after he was kidnapped by armed men.

On Monday morning, the 15-year-old social media influencer’s body was dumped in binbags along the CA-13 highway in La Lima, Cortés Department.

The teenager had allegedly been abducted on Sunday evening by a group of hooded men armed with high-calibre guns at a football court in Campo Nevada, Choloma. Following his disappearance, Pedro’s family members took to social media in a desperate bid to locate him.

Tragically, his body was discovered on the highway the next day. Initially unidentified, Forensic Medicine officials issued a plea for information, describing the victim as a young male with fair skin, a slender build, and no tattoos.

He had a surgical scar and metal pins in one leg, was wearing black trousers, and was barefoot. Pedro’s distinctive haircut and eyebrow design were also noted.

His family identified him at the morgue by his surgical scar and other distinguishing features, according to NeedToKnow.

Pedro had amassed a large following on TikTok, thanks in part to his livestreaming battles with other influencers.

In his final post, just hours before his abduction, Pedro collaborated with fellow TikToker Paty Burgos, who has since expressed her devastation over his alleged murder.

The investigation into Pedro’s death is ongoing, with the motive behind the killing still unknown.

The news comes after we reported how a renowned streamer and his father tragically lost their lives in a car accident while returning from his grandmother’s funeral. Sebastián Funes had travelled with his family to the service in Pehuajó, Argentina.

On their return trip to Buenos Aires on Sunday (July 5), they were involved in a multi-vehicle crash with a pickup truck and a lorry at km 349 on National Route 5. The accident claimed the lives of 27-year-old Sebastián and his father.

His mother and 12-year-old sister sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital in Pehuajó. The driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries, while the lorry driver walked away unscathed.
